can i create my own package?
of course! i have a few standard packages to start from, and we can completely customize your package to fit what you need.
do you carry insurance?
yes. many churches and reception halls ask for proof of insurance and we would be happy to provide this before your wedding day upon request.
do you travel?
sure! just let me know when and where! although most of my weddings are in Charlotte, Asheville, and Houston, i am also available as a destination wedding photographer.
how long does it take to get my images back?
i always post a sneak peek on my blog the day after the wedding so you can see a few of your images. we will then correct your images for color and exposure and put them in an online gallery in 2-4 weeks. if you need your images sooner, i would be happy to expedite the processing workflow as part of your package.
my wedding package comes with a disc of images. can i use them on facebook? how about printing them myself?
of course! when you get a disc of photographs, you have rights to print and post them for personal use. all of your images are high resolution and ready for printing. and i love when i see one of the wedding photos i took posted on facebook!
what makes you different from other photographers?
i'm an
edgy wedding photographer that likes brides with a little spunk in their personality, but if you got this far in the website, you already know that. so what else?
i'm a female, and i hire only female second photographers. women
connect on a more personal level with a bride, and i think that is important when a photographer is capturing the most romantic day of your life. my husband comes with me to help make your wedding day run smmothly - to coordinate with your wedding planner, the DJ, etc so that my second shooter and i can concentrate on what we do best - capture your memories so you can look back, and relive your wedding day through photography.
what should we wear for our engagement photography?
i recommend wearing bold, solid colors - patterns do not photograph well. remember that you want to be able to look at your engagement photos in 10 years and still love them, so choose something that will stand the test of time, rather than something super trendy.
what's the difference between digital negatives and digitally retouched images?
digital negatives will be corrected for color and exposure, but will not have any airbrushing. when you order a a large print, album, or any other product, we will completely retouch your image to make sure it is perfect for printing. we have a professional graphic designer that works only with our studio and will make sure that your images have a flawless look.
