before deciding on whether or not we are right for you, it is worth noting that we handle things a little differently at our studio. we don't photograph a client's wedding. it's just not the way we roll. we gotta connect with you - we photograph a friend's wedding. we're with you from the time you start getting ready until the time you make your getaway on your wedding night. if we're not friends before your wedding, neither of us are going to be very comfortable - trust me! and really, wouldn't you rather have your wedding photography taken from a friend's point of view, rather than a vendor's point of view? a vendor doesn't know that the little charm you tied to your bouquet was the pendant on the first necklace he gave you. or that your choice of locations for engagement photography was actually the place you met. your FRIENDS know that - and it's important for us to know that those little details should be captured by your wedding photographers.

for this reason, we include an engagement session in every package we offer. not only does it give us a chance to get to know each other, it also gives you a chance to show off your sassy poses in front of my camera - i KNOW you've got 'em!

after your wedding photography has been successfully captured, we handle those memories with the best care possible. we use high end equipment, make backups before we even leave your reception location, and print with only the best companies in the industry. and most importantly, we'll never drop off the face of the earth just because our job is done. if you're a former J.V bride and feel like you *couldn't* call me on a sunday afternoon for lunch and a mimosa, please, leave a comment on my blog somewhere or shoot me an e-mail, because it means i missed the mark on our entire philosophy.
